Just got X-plane in the mail, it seems nice, long install though (76Gb.)
I will probably need to rebuild one of my a joysticks to get a proper helicopter controller.

Maybe _slightly_ off-topic, but the last game-related thing I bought: A ticket to the Final Fantasy: Distant Worlds II concert, along with a CD at the event itself. Combined, it cost the same as a new game, ha ha. So, the last game I played: I wanted to try to give Final Fantasy II one more shot... but the way the game starts you out with completely powerless characters and no money makes it hard to have fun with. Walking back and forth outside the first town, smacking my own characters to raise their weapon stats and HP (or watching them MISS themselves)... I think I have more fun doing laundry.

Which version are you playing? GBA and after versions give you good enough starting equipment. Just play the game normally and not 'hitting yourself" is much more rewarding and a fun experience. But each character needs for you to set a role and stick with it. FF2 is one of my favorite FF games.

I got the Borderlands Platinum the other day. I've also been playing Modern Warfare 2 on Hardened (to get the Trophy) and Uncharted 2.

Bought a PS2 at a pawn shop. What games should I get for it?
Last thing I played was The Chronicles of Narnia for Game Boy Advance. It's a pretty good game if you like the adventure/battle style.

Just completed Adams Venture - The Search For Lost Garden.
What a great game it was.
By guess I wold say that from creditability point of view, this is propably the Best or Second best Christian game available (Havent seen that Left Behind game which might be even better).
I started it last morning, played it for maybe hour and half and had to stop plaing until this night, and i was actually looking forward to and waiting to get to continue this game.
So it indeed was good.
Graphics were great, and only minus i could find from them was that people were bit too much like dolls, not lively looking fellas by A-class games standards.
I would have enjoyed this game even it handnt been christian one.
It was completely non violent on its nature. It had good atmosphere, some nice puzzles and actually it was even able to teach you some bible to stuff.
It also wasnt preaching in any way, so i could imagine buying this to some non christiain friends/relatives kid as a present.
Game was very short. I think it lasted maybe 5 hours.
On minus side it was too linear, no multiple choices, not even to get through cave 1 you need to first complete vace 2 and 3 in which ever order you wish.
Although it was nice that you sometimes picked some stuff and put them somewhere, there wasnt much fun out of them because Adam would automatically use them, instead of point n click style of figure out which works and where, which had suited this very well.
One strange thing in this game was, that while it didint really have much of an action element, somehow it feeled very action packed game anyway.
Anyone looking for good, atmospheric, good looking and quickly and simply playable christiain game should think no more.
Pick Adams Venture, you wont regret it!
Cant wait for the Second Episode to come out. One surer buyer here.

@mightybotme: Hmm... weren't we just asking about PS1 games? Ha ha. For PS2, I really thought that the best games came out very early in the cycle, and that for the most part I look back at PS1 games with more "fondness". But for PS2-exclusive, you might try Dark Cloud - similar to Nintendo's Zelda series (an action RPG), but with a little town-building element on top of it.

I have been playing Modern Warfare 2 too much. I made a new PSN account to see if my KDR would improve (it did) but now I am having too much fun trying to keep it above 1. I need to stop playing casual games and start playing real games like Borderlands

Picked up some Wii games last week. Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 - I really enjoyed WWII games on the PC and the original "Medal of Honor" was one of my favorites. I decided to pick this up for the Wii after reading pretty good reviews and it being only $5. So far, the game is a blast. It sure is fun playing it on the bigger (TV) screen. The A.I. can be bad (reviews all said so), but even so, the game is lots of fun. I am really happy I got it. Good action game with achievements and secondary objectives. The Wii controls work extremely well on the game. Madden NFL 09 All-Play - I don't really care for sports, in general, but I do like some sports video games. Previously, I only had Madden 2005 for GBA, but now I have Madden for the console and it's terrific. I've gone through training, played some 5 on 5 games with bobble headed characters (totally simple, family/party-oriented game) and played the 1st half of a "Play Now" game (saved at half-time and will finish it later). I can't wait to start a full season and franchise mode, but I am currently just trying to get my feet wet and familiarize myself with the game. The controls work really well for the game. So far, the one major control issue I have is raising your arms to catch. You are supposed to raise both the Wii Remote and Nunchuck up in the air to have the receiver catch the ball, but I can only get it to work about 15% of the time. That's not to say I don't catch it, but the guy's arms do not raise up for the catch. Another very pleasing purchase.

Heroes 2's multiplayer is really fun as well.
I got an iPod Touch last week and have been playing Pocket Legends, N.O.V.A., Modern Combat: Sandstorm, Doodle Jump, and too many other games to list
