Hello my name is Dizzyman572

Hello, this post is almost hard to write somewhat. I've only find out last December that there were actual Christian Game Developers out there in the world somehow living the dream I long for. But only now did I actually think to search for a forum where Christian game developers just discuss about not only the wonders of God but also games and they really mean to all of us. Pardon me if this sounds too emotional, but honestly, I have no idea what else to say besides the following.

My name is Dizzyman572, and I wanna be a Christian Game Designer.
I hope to take part in the many topics that run through this forum on a daily basis and absorb as much knowledge as the Lord wills. Thank you for being here. :D

Hey, welcome to CDN! Yep, this is probably the largest Christian game developers community site out there. I've been on here for 2 years and I've learned so much and everyone is really nice.

So you want to be a Christian game designer? Do you have any experience? Any ideas?

Welcome.

First up, I'm curious though - what's your skill set. Art? programming? music? or game design? feel free to share upcoming projects.

Most of the activity in the CDN community is at the IRC channel. Which you can access at http://blog.christiandevs.com/?page_id=21 - so feel free to drop by and get to know everyone.

I've worked on my own prototypes in the past, from which, I've learned a lot about Game Design just by doing it. For me, my main expertice lies within Game Design, Writing and tad bit of art. So I'll admit, these games, they were pretty buggy and were really ugly to look at. I've got plenty more ideas though and right now I've just been studying and playing games like it were an art. Of which, it now is. :)

Thank you for asking, right now I'm just studying Game Design and I plan to make some levels for various games. Level Design was actual one of my favorite parts of the game making process until Game Design finally kicked into full gear, so I'm looking forward to revisitng my roots and start buffing my skills in that field.
Believe me when I say that I am really excited for this summer, I've compiled a list of maps that may ultimately fail. But I know that there is always something to learn from every faillure and success. If you have any advice for Level Design, or anyone that you can reccomend, please let me know.

I'll also make sure to check out that blog you mentioned as well. :)
