Working on a new iPhone game called Balloon Moon. I’m using FlashPunk 1.6 and coding in FlashDevelop and it’s coming along nicely. Today I’m going to work on physics like jumping and helium. I’m probably going to use a library like Box2D because I’m not very experienced with physics, but then again I don’t need it for much so I might try writing my own custom class.

Also, am I seriously the only one posting here? Come on people, show us what you're working on! (:

launcher - Hey! Ha, well the story is that you're in a mall and all the children dropped their balloons. So you have to run around and grab the balloons and give them back.

Here's a quick video of some of the gameplay:

Balloon Moon looks pretty cool so far. Are you using the lead character from Leaf Catcher in this one?

Brownboot, really nice art work!

As for me, I personally haven’t worked on anything original lately, but did put together a remix of an old NES game called Deadly Towers a month or so ago. If you’re interested in that type of thing, here are the links:

Here's the source song:

Here’s the arrangement I did:

Yeah, looking nice brownboot :)

Steve! Nice to see you on here! Balloon Moon was sort of just a prototype, so I don't know if I'll be continuing it or not.

I'm listening to your remix now. It's GREAT stuff man!

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. I hope the good folks at Over Clocked Remix feel the same way. :)

The prototype for BM looks good. Is there a particular reason you're unsure about continuing with the project?

I started a new game the same time as Ludum Dare was going on this weekend. I didn't enter it, but here's a timelapse of what I did and at the end you can see the result. I had a lot of fun watching other people make their games and providing feedback via twitter.

I plan to keep developing this game and release it eventually for iOS.
